Open up mysql port for connection from outside I want to connect to my mysql server from an external server. How can I open up port 3303 to enable external connection? I am using Plesk on virtuozzo, with AFP. __________________ ~JKBNumerology Compatibility Astrology

Edit /etc/apf/conf.apf and add 3306 in the IG_TCP_CPORTS or simply apf -a IP the client MySQL ip. Ideally you would only allow the client IP rather then opening MySQL up to the world. __________________ John Security and general linux how-to'sTotalServerSolutions - for all your linux server and colocation needs!
