Comments on Site5 Reseller plan ?

Posted by xyper, 07-11-2001, 08:54 PM
Hey all, I am after some comments on Site5 and their reseller plan. I have emailed support a few times over the last few days and have had no response. Thats not really a good sign to start but as I have heard pretty good things about them from reading other posts i thought id ask for comments about their recent service. Is there anyone who is a current reseller for Site5 on this forum ? If so can anyone answer the following; what is the uptime and support like usually >? what features are included with the main reseller account ? what are the initial prices aside from the $100 setup fee ? Also lastly what version of php do they run ? We need 4.0.4 at least for some of our scripts to work. Thanks for the time it takes to reply ! _____________________ enjoy the journey

I have been receiving responses from Matt, but I'm a dedicated server customer. I haven't seen him on ICQ recently, but nevertheless email seems to work. Vince is a different story, I haven't heard back from him in almost 96 hours... But I've been getting responses from Matt just fine. Brian

Hi there, i talked to matt and vince today over ICQ. Over the last few days their senior system administrator who i belive is vince? had not been able to get online. But now things are back to normal and they have hired a new tech.. I have a dedicated server with them (or i will tomorow when it comes! woo!) Must say i have been really impressed up to now with them, Matt is a great lad and Vince is very nice too. I think that you will be very happy with the service that you recieve, if its anything like the service i have been getting so far :] Regards Craig

having our reseller account setup asap is not the main priority , we have been researching for a week or more and we just want to make the right choice, so it more a case of finding out they are the right hsoting company for us. we have sites scattered all over the place and wish to consolidate them with one host. but manily we envision more signups in the future and we would ike to have the foundations in place to build the hosting side to our business. my emails have since been responded to and i have asked a few more questions, vince has emailed me directly from this post to help out which is reassuring we especially like the customizable control panel option icq support is also a bonus... we will add to this post as we go, in an effort to catalog our experience with them for the next interested reseller... --------------------------------- Enjoying the journey...
