Posted by Darvil, 08-08-2008, 07:57 PM I followed this http://trac.lighttpd.net/trac/wiki/RequestTracker but I can't seem to start the process This is what appears in the error log 2008-08-08 19:49:17: (log.c.75) server started 2008-08-08 19:49:17: (mod_fastcgi.c.1029) the fastcgi-backend /opt/rt3/bin/mason_lighttpd_handler.fcgi failed to start: 2008-08-08 19:49:17: (mod_fastcgi.c.1033) child exited with status 9 /opt/rt3/bin/mason_lighttpd_handler.fcgi 2008-08-08 19:49:17: (mod_fastcgi.c.1036) If you're trying to run PHP as a FastCGI backend, make sure you're using the FastCGI-enabled version. You can find out if it is the right one by executing 'php -v' and it should display '(cgi-fcgi)' in the output, NOT '(cgi)' NOR '(cli)'. For more information, check http://trac.lighttpd.net/trac/wiki/D...tcgi-programIf this is PHP on Gentoo, add 'fastcgi' to the USE flags. 2008-08-08 19:49:17: (mod_fastcgi.c.1340) [ERROR]: spawning fcgi failed. 2008-08-08 19:49:17: (server.c.908) Configuration of plugins failed. Going down. I'm using the cgf-fcgi version so I don't know what could be error here. I'm wondering if anyone else have some sorta tip on where else I can look for solutions or maybe an easier solution. I can't seem to track down a good tutorial. My problem with Nginx is finding a good method to spawn the fcgi process. Is the only way to use the one that comes with lighttpd? Basically I have everything down except for the part that connects fcgi and the webserver. BTW the box is running Centos 5.2 Thanks for reading!
