Credit card transactions?

Posted by Sefu, 07-16-2001, 08:29 AM
I'm after some advice on credit card transactions. What is involved to setting up your own system to accept credit cards? Would it be expensive? If the above method is not feasable, what is a good site that can process credit card transactions? I'm looking for small interest rates, and able to handle Australian currency, and must be able to transfer the money into a Australian bank account. Also is it possible to direct debit a client each month using a online credit transaction site with the clients permission? If not how will i bill them every month? Thanks for your help Wing Li Last edited by Sefu; 07-16-2001 at 09:18 AM.

search this forum w/ the keyword "credit card" or "ravecom" or "instabill" and you will find a lot of info.

There are CC packages that run on a PC and connect to a gateway that will let you schedule charges.

Where would i find these packages? And how much would they cost?

Hi, check out WORLDPAY.com - Aussie $ supported easily. We are planning to use them - have a search on WHT for "WORLDPAY" - there is lots of discussion!

Yeah i checked them out but they seem to be very expensive. I probably go for Revecom, if only instabill has $AU Currency...
