Hello, I'm looking for anyone out there using dataphorce.com Could you please give me any information on your experiences with them for say the past month or so. I just want to find out if in the past month have they fixed their problems and found a way to get better up-time. Thanks,

Well, I'm testing their resellers service and it's in a deep beta stage. The master control panel is full of serious bugs: - it won't remember the custom name servers you create. Try creating custom name server and then log back in in a day just to see that is gone... and when you repeat the procedure it assigns a new pair of IP's... One would'd have to tell the customers to set the DNS to ns1.dataphorce.com or use 3rd party DNS and assign an IP for each of the accounts. - their MX settings for customers are set to dataphorce.com, when you try to change them, the control panel just deletes the setting and desn't allow a new one... This is the BIG no no for me. I mean, jeez, they want us to resell?! - welcome email with all the new account settings does not get mailed out. So you don't know anything, not even a FTP password... I almost had to hack into mine - there was an error in customer control panel which consisted of a lot of garbage code with url 'dataphorce.com' included (!). And it lasted for 2 days even after I emailed them. I must say i spoke to Matt over ICQ once and he gave me a 'credit' to test thir service out without paying. Too bad that he won't answer my e-mails or talk on ICQ anymore. Othervise, I got an impression that he's a good guy. Overworked perhaps. It seem that there is simply nothing they can do at the moment... The control panels need another 3 or 6 months of work. Too bad, I would have started to seriously resell them... I guess they don't want my customers just yet. If anyone has a chance to talk to Matt or anyone else from Dataphorce, please post your experience. Ales

I agree with Ales. I moved recently most of my accounts from them.

ICQ is 104720385, hostmaster@dataphorce.com Like I described in a previous post, beware. Good costs don't help you if the account doesn't work.

yeah, they started with a bang - got LOTS of interest but from the murmurs I heard afterwards, things did not work well. I looked at the demo account and wasn't satisfied with the lack of working links . It may have improved now, but I don't see any posts here to prove otherwise. Brian

Hello It seems their control panel is not ready yet. I have tested it and I decided not to go with them yet. It will be one of the best control panells available but not yet. There are so much bugs that make it impossible to rely on them. Mac
