RaQ Host?

Posted by Evan, 05-12-2001, 12:09 AM Hi, Within the next couple of weeks (or months). RaQ Host, a Canadian based web hosting company will be opening. We will be offering virtual hosting, dedicated servers, and maybe even ecommerce (with the CommerceRaQ servers). We at this stage in the game, are not ready for our Network Operations Center: This is our plan. We will co-locate or lease (whichever the better deal at the time) and once we get enough servers we are aiming at getting our own Private Suite at the new Verio Data Center. I was wondering if you think this is a good idea. and the name RaQ Host is good. Our team thought it was a good name We would like as much feedback to the topic of Cobalt RaQ Web Hosting and if it is profitable and needed by customers. thanks. Posted by avara, 05-13-2001, 04:31 PM You'll have to decide whether to focus on service, or price competition. Either way, you'll have to face a lot of competition from the big guys like 4webspace and rackshack. Good luck.
