WHM/apache problems

Posted by madpato, 06-26-2008, 11:08 AM
Hi I've started a similar topic once but couldnt resolve the issue. The problem is that ive installed WHM on a centos 5.1 everything was installed correctly but when i try to acces WHM interface in the webbrowser, it doesnt show anything, and if i put only the ip address, i dont get the message of "apache success" i think that might be the problem, apache. So im asking for ur help (and i really need to fix this...) because im not so experienced on handling apache (in fact im novice in the matter) BTW we had the same problem w another server and my boss hired some1 who solved the problem without reinstalling it at all... ive checked the bash history and it shows that he edited httpd.conf and php.ini so... i think that there is the source of the problem. PS: My boss wants ME to fix this x_X

Hi, Is cpanel or apache running? Try to restart service cpanel restart and service apache restart. Check the apache logs also. Regards, Bobby

Apache needs to be recompiled. Try choosing a lower apache2 version.
