some one say apf and other say csf

| Hi,
Protection per se, I think they are just the same, the plus only of csf is the WHM / gui environment, so easier to maintain for the newbie.

| If it is a cpanel server, I would recommend CSF as you can manage it from WHM.

| csf have more features than apf. I switched all my servers from apf to csf. If you wish, start with apf, then you can at any time install csf and see it yourself. csf comes with uninstall program for apf.

| I agree with the CSF recommendations. As great as APF is, it has not been updated in quite a while which has caused it to fall behind CSF in terms of features. I was using APF for the last 6 years, but switched every box over to CSF. I still think APF is a great product just behind in the times now.

| CSF is better. It has got some features such as temporary banning.
