Print the same thing to 2 printers at the same time

Posted by bambinou, 10-23-2012, 12:27 PM Hello, I have seen some restaurants printing what shows on the receipts on 2 printers at the same time, do you know which application to use for this please? The only solution I find at like 2000 dollars which I think is mad..... I am sure there is a freeware somewhere that can help with this kind of programming. Please help, Thank you, Ben
Posted by servedby, 10-23-2012, 05:25 PM Hi, I would think the simplest method would be to configure a print server to spool the job onto two separate printers for every incoming job. Configure that print server as the target for the device requesting the print and it should work.

Any idea if there are any "free" spool server anywhere or some at a reasonable cost as I cannot find anything below 100's of dollars for multiple computers. I Googled a lot but perhaps from my location "south EU" I am not getting great results Thank you, Ben
