Awstats Problem

I am installing awstats on a windows server running apache 2 and php 4.4.2 my apache2 error log has the follow lines not allowing the awstats page to load: couldn't create child process: 720003: awstats.pl couldn't spawn child process: C:/path-to-awstats/wwwroot/cgi-bin/awstats.pl Any suggestions? searches just bring up logs with the same error. Thanks!

nevermind, didn't change the perl path in awstats.pl

I have this very same problem on my windows/apache2 setup. How do I set the path to perl in awstats.pl, cos I cant find it anywhere in the file, or is it the first line?
